ROM-what?

Hi my name is Romulo. Everyone seems to butcher my name, so I thought my logo would be cool if it were based on my name's phonetic spelling. Now that I got that out of the way, over the past 10 years I have worked at various companies conceptualizing, designing, developing and executing on a wide scope of projects for companies ranging from small start-ups to large corporations. While my career started off in marketing, it slowly progressed into the design side, which eventually then brought me to development.

Over those years I've had the time to hone and specialize my skills in web development, much more so on the front-end, but I've had my fair share of developing solutions for the backend. I guess you can say, my skills have come full circle as I have amalgamated them into the complete package. However, there is always room for improvement, since the industry is constantly evolving. I am always, with every project I face, gaining knowledge through books, tutorials and through collaborative environments. With that said, I hope to forge the synergies of marketing and design to develop and communicate a message to any audience or visitor, creating a compelling commodity, on and offline.

About My Site and Services

This site is a testament to what a week of hard work yields. The goal was to create a site based on future standards but yet remain cross-broswer compliant with w3c validation. So this is now pretty much going to be my digital chalkboard where I can test out new technology. That being said I decided to build this using the Expression Engine 2.0 Beta CMS, and incorporating html5 and CSS 3. I used Jquery extensively around the site (in good taste I hope), and am loving @font-face, as it is powering all my fonts on this site (across all broswers =P).

Now that you know a little bit more about the site, I can tell you what I can do for your company. I offer first and foremost, CMS Integration, whether it be Expression Engine, Drupal, Wordpress, Joomla, Squarespace...it doesn't matter. I get the job done, I get it done in a timely manner, and I get it done right. To compliment this offering, I also offer design services including web design, collateral design, logo design so that you have a consistent brand across all mediums.
